This project will improve the road surface, efficiency of travel and safety for motorists traveling throughout Calaveras County.  The two locations are as follows:  Approximately 14.7 miles on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from Six Mile Road, west of Vallecito, to Davis Ranch Road, just east of Douglas Flat.  Approximately 6.8 miles on northbound and southbound SR-49 from the Calaveras\/Tuolumne County line to just north of Sonora Street in Angels Camp.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/caltransm.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"214\" height=\"203\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6861\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/caltransm.jpg 214w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/caltransm-150x142.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 214px) 100vw, 214px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Work is scheduled to begin July 31, 2017 and be completed in October, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists should expect 10 minute delays.
