<\/p>\nSan Andreas, CA….PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, due to unscheduled vacancies and expiration of terms, the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors encourages interested and qualified persons to apply for membership to the following County committees or commissions:<\/p>\n

Mental Health Board
\nOne vacancy for a term expiring 12\/31\/19 \u2013 Consumer or Family Member 5
\n1) The local Mental Health Board shall review and evaluate the community’s mental health needs, services, facilities and special problems. 2) Review any County agreements entered into pursuant to Section 5650. 3) Advise the Board of Supervisors and the local Mental Health Director as to any aspect of the local mental health program. 4) Review and approve procedures used to ensure citizen and professional involvement at all stages of the planning process as specified in Section 5651. 5) Submit an annual report to the Board of Supervisors and the Statewide Planning Council. 6) Make recommendations regarding the appointment of a local Director of Mental Health Services. 7) Review and make recommendations concerning applicants for the Board prior to approval by the Board of Supervisors.
\nMeetings: Meets on the first Tuesday of each month at the Behavioral Health Department Building.

Applications for membership must be obtained by calling 209\/754-6370 or through the Calaveras County Clerk-Recorder\u2019s, Board of Supervisors Division, 891 Mtn. Ranch Rd, San Andreas, CA 95249 or you may apply on the County\u2019s website at http:\/\/calaverascountyca.iqm2.com\/Citizens\/Board . Completed applications must be returned to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at the above address by 4:30 PM, August 18, 2017. If no applications are received by the advertised deadline or applications are withdrawn, do not meet requirements, are invalid, etc., the County will continue to accept applications beyond the deadline until the vacancy is filled.<\/p>\n
