<\/p>\nCALAVERAS COUNTY \u2014 The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various road construction work on State Route 4 (SR-4) from SR-49, in Angels Camp, to Apple Blossom Drive in Murphys. Work will occur as follows: One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from SR-49 to Davis Ranch Road beginning Sunday, August 20, 2017, through Friday, August 25, 2017, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. for paving work. Shoulder closures on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from Pennsylvania Gulch Road to Dam Road beginning Monday, August 21, 2017, through Wednesday, August 23, 2017, from 7:00 a.m until 5:00 a.m. for curb, gutter and sidewalk work.
\n Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.<\/p>\n

The work at this location is part of a project that will repave over 21 combined miles of highway on SR-4 and SR-49 in Calaveras County. This $3.6 million project has been awarded to George Reed, Inc. and is scheduled to be completed in October 2017.<\/p>\n
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and\/or materials and construction related issues.<\/p>\n
