Contractor KW Emerson of San Andreas, California, will reconstruct Lot 2, the parking area adjacent to the Pinecrest Lake Resort snack shack in this first phase of the project.  \u201cThis is a multi-season project,\u201d said Tim Hughes, Stanislaus National Forest\u2019s chief engineer. \u201cWork will halt during winter as needed due to weather and in summer we will shut down work to allow the public to use the affected areas during the recreation season.\u201d  The work will continue during spring and fall construction periods through May 2019, Hughes said.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8368\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo-150x169.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Other work planned this fall includes constructing an overflow parking area (Lot 8) across from the entrance to Pinecrest Campground and reconstructing the large \u201cJ\u201d lot, located adjacent to Pinecrest Campground\u2019s \u201cD\u201d and \u201cE\u201d loops. <\/p>\n<p>When work is complete, all Day Use parking areas, Lakeshore Avenue and Lakeshore Drive will be refurbished.
