Deputy Knapp happened to be in the same parking lot and knew Benzel had a warrant for his arrest for driving on a suspended driver&#8217;s license. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/TCSOLogo1-2014small_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6493\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/TCSOLogo1-2014small_thumb.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/TCSOLogo1-2014small_thumb-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/TCSOLogo1-2014small_thumb-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He waited for Benzel to exit the store before placing him under arrest. The passenger of the silver Ford Fusion was identified as 18-year-old Taylor Morse of San Andreas.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Knapp deployed his partner, K9 Maverick, to conduct a sniff on the exterior of the vehicle. K9 Maverick alerted to presence of narcotics and a search of the car was conducted.
