A few locations will remain open for a few more weeks, but many are closing Oct. 1. Dispersed camping is available until the roads close, but be ready for winter weather! Check the Forest website at https:\/\/www.fs.usda.gov\/stanislaus\/ for information about all recreation areas before you go.
