On, August 22, 2017, I, Barbara Sullivan, Calaveras County Tax Collector, was directed to conduct a public auction sale by the Board of Supervisors of Calaveras County, California.  The tax-defaulted properties listed below are subject to the Tax Collector\u2019s Power of Sale and have been approved for sale by a resolution dated August 22, 2017 of the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/CalaverasCountySeal.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"218\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23630\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/CalaverasCountySeal.jpg 220w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/CalaverasCountySeal-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/CalaverasCountySeal-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 220px) 100vw, 220px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The sale will be conducted at www.bid4assets.com on Friday November 10, 2017 to begin at 8:00 AM PT (11:00 AM ET), to end Monday November 13, 2017 between 12:00-1:00 PM PT (3:00-4:00 PM ET), as a public auction to the highest bidder for not less than the minimum bid as shown on this notice. Parcels receiving no bids will be re-offered January 26, 2017 through January 29, 2017 at www.bid4assets.com, at a minimum bid price appropriate to stimulate competitive bidding.  Research the item prior to bidding.  Due diligence research is incumbent on the bidder.  The winning bidder is legally obligated to purchase the item.<\/p>\n<p>Only bids submitted via the Internet will be accepted.  Pre-registration is required.  Register on-line at www.bid4assets.com by Monday November 6, 2017. Bidders must submit a refundable deposit of $2,500.00 plus a $35.00 processing fee electronically at www.bid4assets.com.  The deposit will be applied to the successful bidder\u2019s purchase price. Full payment and deed information indicating how title should be vested is required within 48 hours after the end of the sale.  Only Cashier\u2019s Check and Wire Transfer payments will be accepted. A California transfer tax will be added to and collected with the purchase price and is calculated at $.55 per each $500.00 or fraction thereof.<\/p>\n<p>All property is sold as is.  The county and its employees are not liable for the failure of any electronic equipment that may prevent a person from participating in the sale.<\/p>\n<p>The right of redemption will cease on Thursday November 9, 2017, at 5:00 PM and properties not redeemed will be offered for sale.  If a parcel is not sold, the right of redemption will revive.   <\/p>\n<p>If the properties are sold, parties of interest, as defined in California Revenue and Taxation Code Section 4675, have a right to file a claim with the county for any excess proceeds from the sale.
