The search warrant was a result of a traffic enforcement stop conducted by the Kansas Highway Patrol near Topeka Kansas. During the traffic enforcement stop Troopers located 30 pounds of processed marijuana. It was discovered the owner of the vehicle and occupant had been a registered marijuana grower in Calaveras County. On further investigation it was determined that the Calaveras County commercial cannabis registration for that property had been denied in May of 2017 for failing to complete required documentation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/shrbadge.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"342\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13296\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/shrbadge.jpg 342w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/shrbadge-300x175.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 342px) 100vw, 342px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On 10\/5\/2017 Calaveras County Sheriff\u2019s Deputies obtained a search warrant for the location. During the search warrant four adults and two juveniles were contacted at the property, 8 marijuana plants and 1.5 pounds of dried marijuana were seized. Additionally deputies located and seized one firearm.
