San Andreas, CA..On 10-28-2017 at approx. 5:40pm, Calaveras County Sheriff\u2019s Office deputies responded to 1330 Calaveritas Road in San Andreas, the Oak Shadows Mobile Home Park, for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival deputies learned that there was a domestic dispute between a 50 year old man and the alleged suspect, Carol Soares (age 66), both of whom live at the mobile home park.<\/p>\n

Witnesses reported hearing an argument prior to the single gunshot. Sheriff\u2019s detectives learned that Soares allegedly shot the victim through a doorway as he was standing outside Soares\u2019 mobile home. The victim sustained minor injuries to his face, and later sought treatment at a local hospital on his own. The two were allegedly arguing over a vehicle prior to the gunshot.<\/p>\n

Carol Soares was arrested for attempted murder – 664\/187(a) PC and inflicting corporal injury \u2013 273.5 PC, and was booked into the Calaveras County Jail.
