A round-robin tournament, preliminary matches were played at both locations.  The finals were in Murphys. The event was a fundraiser to help MACTA maintain the Wintercreek Facility, to sponsor youth and adult clinics, and to continue to promote tennis in Murphys and the surrounding The winners of flight one were Sachi Triolo, of Hathaway Pines, and Mark Nouillan, Sonora.  Runners up were Herb Tout, Columbia, and Debbie Wittman, Sonora.<\/p>\n<p>Patty Haskell, Murphys, and Dan Seider, Arnold won flight two.  John Lacrosse, Columbia, and Mary Lou Gerber, Sonora, were runners up.<\/p>\n<p>MACTA was formed in the autumn of 2010 to channel the interests and efforts of the many tennis players in the greater Murphys area. It is a community tennis association affiliated with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and has 501(c) 3 non-profit status. <\/p>\n<p>MACTA is designed to welcome tennis players of all ages and all skill levels.  Anyone wishing to join can do so by making an annual donation of at least $25.
