This month, we will complete our Speaker Series for 2017 and we are very fortunate to have, Dr. John Kramer, Senior Geologist for Condor Earth as our speaker on November 21st. Condor Earth is a diversified, multidisciplinary organization providing a variety of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Chemical Risk Management, GIS, and Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection Services to private and public clients. Condor Earth has offices in Sonora, Stockton, Jamestown, Merced, and Rancho Cordova.<\/p>\n
Dr. Kramer directs project work on mine closure activities, subsurface investigations, environmental monitoring, and remediation. He has published numerous articles on a wide variety of topics related to geology and has presented short-courses and training lectures on digital field mapping at the state and national levels.<\/p>\n
Dr. Kramer, in addition to being a Professional Geologist, is a certified Engineering Geologist and a Certified Hydro-Geologist. With over 30 years of experience, he shows an enormous cache of knowledge about the geology of our surrounding hills, mountains, and our county.<\/p>\n
SIR (Sons in Retirement) is a Men\u2019s only organization. We are not political, and not associated to any religious organization, we are not a service club, we have no paid employees and no physical assets; we meet entirely for the benefit of our members. Visitors are asked to contact the Membership Director about attending scheduled meetings, we welcome all retired gentlemen.<\/p>\n
