Sonora, CA…On Friday, November 19th, just after 7 p.m., the Sonora Police Department responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision in the 300 block of Stockton Street. It was determined that a 2004 red Honda SUV, driven by a 47-year-old Sonora woman, was traveling eastbound on Stockton Road and had struck a 38-year-old man also from Sonora. The male was crossing Stockton Road from north to south outside of any marked crosswalk when the collision occurred. <\/p>\n

The male sustained moderate to severe injuries and was transported out of county for medical treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.<\/p>\n
