<\/p>\nSan Andreas, CA…The San Andreas Community Covenant Church (SACCC) is seeking community support to provide shoeboxes filled with necessities and additional items for 185 school aged children that attend San Andreas Elementary. \u201cOur church recognizes that this may be the only Christmas gift that some of these children will receive this year,\u201d stated Pastor Kevin Diamond for the SACCC. \u201cSince arriving here almost two years ago, my wife and I have been so impressed by the generosity of this community. Our church felt that we should let others know that we are once again committed to providing love and cheer to these children. One of our community members, who is also an active member of SACCC has recently retired, and \u201cChristmas for Kids\u2019 has been a passion of hers. SACCC is grateful and happy to support Ingrid for her vision and organization of this much needed community outreach. The need is higher this year than in past years, so we wanted to extend the invitation to anyone that can join us in supporting our efforts for Christmas for Kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

Participants can purchase the following (cash donations are also appreciated if you wish not to shop) if so moved to help out:<\/p>\n
Purchase a plastic shoe box sized container, or wrap a card board shoe box and write the grade levels of K-6th including a label that reads the gift is for a boy or girl. Please include a small sweet treat, but not homemade.
