Romero was in the process of passing another vehicle in heavy rain when she collided head-on with Party #2 (Black). The force of the collision disabled both vehicles in the westbound lane of SR-12. Romero and her two passengers sustained moderate injuries and were transported to Mark Twain Medical Center for treatment. Black sustained major injuries and was ultimately transferred to Mercy San Juan Medical Center for treatment. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpsan.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37824\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpsan.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpsan-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpsan-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Romero was subsequently arrested for Felony DUI. After being medically cleared at the hospital, she was transported and booked into the Calaveras County Jail.  <\/p>\n<p>Alcohol and\/or drugs were a factor in this collision.
