<\/p>\nMokelumne Hill, CA…On February 3, 2018, at approximately 2206 hours, CHP San Andreas units responded to a traffic collision on SR-49 at Center Street in Mokelumne Hill. The investigating officers determined that Vieira was driving his 2013 International northbound on SR-49 approaching Center Street. Cloud was driving her 1999 Dodge westbound on Center Street approaching SR-49. Cloud made a left turn onto SR-49, directly into the path of Vieira’s vehicle. The front of Vieira’s vehicle collided with the left side of Cloud’s vehicle. As a result of the collision, Cloud sustained fatal injuries at the scene. Cloud’s passenger, Ladd, was transported from the scene by ambulance where he later succumbed to his injuries. Vieira sustained minor injuries, but refused transport. <\/p>\n

It is unknown if alcohol and\/or drugs were a factor in this collision. This collision is still under investigation. <\/p>\n
