Sponsored by The Calaveras WineGrape Alliance, this wine education series is held monthly at 6pm at The Murphys Hotel with a few exceptions. Each class will include tasting 5-6 premium wines, hand selected by the host and light bites are included. Most classes are $30 for non-members and $25 for CWA members. About The Host: Lindsay Gwin is a local Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, a Certified Specialist of Wine with the Society of Wine Educators and a California Wine Appellation Specialist with the San Francisco Wine School. With over 13 years experience in the wine industry, she brings not only a wealth of wine knowledge to her classes, but also enthusiasm and fun. Lindsay is currently pursuing her Certified Wine Educator and Advanced Sommelier certifications.<\/p>\n
