The mission of the Calaveras Humane Society is to promote an excellent quality of life for the animals of our County. We seek to involve and engage the greater community in achieving our mission.<\/p>\n

Who We Are:<\/h3>\n

We are an organization with a small staff and an enthusiastic volunteer group of citizens who care about the destiny and welfare of companion animals.<\/p>\n

We are a local non-profit organization.<\/h3>\n

Our challenge is local animal welfare, not animal rights.<\/p>\n

The Calaveras Humane Society relies on local donations and does not receive funding from national animal rights organizations or humane societies.<\/em><\/p>\n
