Arnold, CA – A summer kids\u2019 event called Everest VBS will be hosted at Chapel in the Pines from June 15 to June 19. At Everest, kids discover what it means to hold on to God\u2019s mighty power in everyday life. Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and dig into yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God\u2019s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they\u2019ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Summit Celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they\u2019ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at noon.<\/p>\n

Kids at Everest VBS will join an international missions effort to provide Thai-language children\u2019s Bibles to kids in Thailand.<\/p>\n

Everest is for kids from 4 years old to entering 5th grade and will run from 9:30am to 12:30pm each day. Pre-registration is encouraged (walk-in registration will start at 9:00 daily).
