Lieutenant Hiehle was a valued and distinguished member of the California Highway Patrol (CHP) for 33 years. Lieutenant Hiehle entered the CHP Academy in January 1, 1983. During her tenure with the Department, she served in Bakersfield, King City, South Los Angeles, San Andreas, San Francisco, and Amador Areas. She spent 12 years as a sergeant in San Andreas and retired as the Lieutenant Commander of the Amador Area on December 30, 2015.<\/p>\n

Lieutenant Hiehle was very engaged with her communities and devoted 33 years of her life serving the people of California. She set herself apart as a valued and respected member of the Department, and her professionalism, work-ethic, and incredible never-give-up attitude are among only a few of the many attributes we\u2019ll miss.
