At 3:48 PM, the Sheriff\u2019s Office received a call from a nearby resident reporting a fight and hearing several gun shots coming from a home in the area.  Deputies responded to the 21000 block of Crestview Drive and found a 63-year-old man in front of his home with multiple gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"639\" height=\"640\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-58996\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image1-1.jpg 639w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image1-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image1-1-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image1-1-570x571.jpg 570w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image1-1-30x30.jpg 30w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image1-1-50x50.jpg 50w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/image1-1-500x500.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 639px) 100vw, 639px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Paramedics arrived and transported the man to an air ambulance where he was flown to a Modesto hospital for treatment.  54-year-old Karen Caster, who also lived in the home was arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for attempted murder and inflicting injury on a spouse or cohabitant.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances which led up to the shooting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sonora, CA&#8230;.The Tuolumne County Sheriff\u2019s Office is investigating an attempted homicide that occurred this afternoon in Sonora.
