Stockton, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is hosting a Career Fair in Stockton and is inviting members of the public to learn more about jobs that are available with the department. With the passage of Senate Bill 1, the Road Repair and Accountability Act, which is projected to raise a total of $54 billion through 2027, Caltrans is expecting a workload increase associated with accelerating construction projects and addressing deferred maintenance needs.<\/p>\n

Caltrans will have information on careers in maintenance, administration, traffic operation, environmental, surveys, engineering and more. This free event will include program information booths, hiring process assistance and information on current local job openings. Computers will also be available for applicants to submit information online.<\/p>\n
