<\/p>\nValley Springs, CA…Missing 15 year old Located in Woodbridge. Updated 5\/31\/18 4:47pm. Calaveras County Sheriff\u2019s Office detectives have been conducting an extensive investigation into the reported missing 15 year old Samantha Roberts of Valley Springs. Numerous possible sightings of Samantha were received over the last few days ranging from locations in Calaveras, Sacramento and San Joaquin County. Through the investigation and interviews, detectives learned that the juvenile had possibly entered into a dating relationship with an adult male. Detectives contacted 20 year old Kevin Kasperson at his place of work in Lodi and arrested him for child endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.<\/p>\n

Samantha was located around 3:30pm today by Calaveras County Sheriff\u2019s Office detectives at Kasperson\u2019s residence in Woodbridge, CA. Child protective services was notified to assist with the investigation and possible reunification of Samantha with her family. At this time detectives have confirmed that Samantha willingly left her residence, was aware of the social media activity reporting her as missing, and she was hiding at Kasperson\u2019s house. Detectives are still conducting follow-up and determining if any other charges will be filed. No further information is available at this time. Kevin Kasperson was transported to the Calaveras County Jail for booking.

\n(Valley Springs, CA) On 5-28-18 at about 1425 hours a Calaveras County Sheriff\u2019s Office deputy took a report for a missing juvenile from a residence in the 8000 block of Baldwin Street in Valley Springs. It was reported to the Sheriff\u2019s Office that 15 year old Samantha Roberts was last seen at her residence in Valley Springs the night before on 5-27-18 around 9:00pm. A back pack and some of Samantha\u2019s clothing is missing as well. At the time of the initial report, Roberts was listed as a voluntary or at-will missing person and considered a possible runaway juvenile. Family and friends have shared her photograph and request to locate via social media. Since then, the Sheriff\u2019s Office has received several reports that Samantha may have been seen accompanied by an adult Caucasian male along the Highway 4 corridor from Murphys to east of Arnold. Deputies are following up on possible sightings, including collecting video surveillance and checking known locations in the area where young adults typically frequent. At this time, the Calaveras County Sheriff\u2019s Office is asking for the public\u2019s assistance in locating the missing 15 year old female, Samantha Roberts (pictures attached). She is described as a white female with red hair and blue eyes, height 4\u201911\u201d, weight 165lbs.<\/p>\n

\nThe Sheriff\u2019s Office reported earlier regarding a report that Samantha was possibly seen at the Murphys Shell Station on Monday (5\/28\/18) at 2:12 pm getting into a newer model gray or silver four door SUV with a roof rack and panoramic sunroofs, possibly a 2018 Honda CRV or Pilot. A picture of that car was released and since then the occupants of that car have spoken to detectives who confirmed it was not the missing juvenile.
