Rail Road Flat, CA…On 6-13-18 members of the Calaveras County Sheriff\u2019s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant for illegal marijuana\/cannabis cultivation at an address in the 2000 block of Mason Road, Railroad Flat. This site was previously registered as a commercial medical cannabis cultivation site. Deputies seized 1,309 marijuana plants, 171.56 pounds of processed marijuana and issued three citations for the three subjects located on the property at the time of the search warrant. <\/p>\n

During the course of this investigation, environmental issues attributed to the cultivation operation were noted by investigators. The District Attorney\u2019s Office will receive the full report for review of potential additional charges. Calaveras County Code Enforcement was requested to respond and noted other issues with the site as well. <\/p>\n

This investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.<\/p>\n

Steven Koba (age 24 of railroad flat) was cited for 11358(c)H&S illegal cannabis cultivation, 11359H&S possession for sale of cannabis, and 11366H&S operate or maintain any place for the purpose of unlawfully selling or giving away illegal controlled substances. <\/p>\n

Timothy Koba (age 58 of San Antonio, Texas) was cited for 11358(c)H&S illegal cannabis cultivation. Markus <\/p>\n
