The Horse Fire. This fire was dispatched about 4PM. The first in engine asked for additional aircraft for this fire. The fire was pretty much contained to the properties that bordered Horseshoe & Stagecoach. The fire did jump Stagecoach at one point but it was quickly contained by the fire crews on scene.<\/p>\n
Air attack had the tankers make drops that completely lined both the right and left flanks with retardant. The copter on scene made numerous water drops on the fire.<\/p>\n
Dispatched to this fire were: CalFire, Copperopolis Fire Protection District, Crew from Vallecito, 4 tankers, 2 copters(only one made it to the scene), Dozer 4442, 3 water tenders<\/p>\n
