Much of the fire is burning in steep, rugged terrain with little to no access roads. The fire grew more than 2,500 acres throughout the day and into the night hours Friday. Prior to the Rough Fire, this river canyon held the record for the largest fire on the Sierra NF which burned in 1924.<\/p>\n<p>Yosemite National Park Remains open.<\/p>\n<p>The fire is 27,129 acres with 7% containment. 2,832 personnel are currently engaged on the fire which includes 204 engines, 38 water tenders, 17 helicopters, 70 crews, and 40 dozers. <\/p>\n<p>Road Closures:<br \/>\nHwy 140 is closed from 1.9 miles east of Midpines to the Cedar Lodge area MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE <\/p>\n<p>Mandatory Evacuations:<br \/>\nThese area are currently under a mandatory evacuation include:<br \/>\nEl Portal Trailer Court<br \/>\nIncline Rd from Clearing House to the last BLM campground<br \/>\nJerseydale\/ Mariposa Pines<br \/>\nCedar Lodge\/ Indian Flat Campground<br \/>\nSavage\u2019s Trading Post<br \/>\nSweetwater Ridge<br \/>\nEl Portal Trailer Court<br \/>\nRancheria Flat &#8211; Government Housing<br \/>\nOld El Portal<br \/>\nYosemite View Lodge<br \/>\nForesta<br \/>\nYosemite West<\/p>\n<p>Evacuation Advisory:<br \/>\nThis is NOT an Evacuation Order.
