<\/a><\/p>\nDuring the summer months, First Fridays in the Park presents a variety of musical groups playing in, or near, the familiar gazebo starting at 5:30 p.m. Friends and neighbors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of good music in the cool confines of Murphys Community Park. Food and beverages are available to purchase and each event has a community sponsor.<\/p>\n
The August meal is being offered by Sierra Hills Market and Lila & Sage.<\/p>\n
There is no admission charge and ample free parking is available nearby. Donations to help maintain the park are always gratefully received.<\/p>\n
Murphys Community Park is located on Algiers St. in historic downtown Murphys. Membership in the Murphys Community Club is open to everyone and contributions are tax deductible. For further information, call 728-8093, or click on the Community Club link at visitmurphys.com.
