About the project: The project will explore multi-modal improvements within the historic core of Valley Springs (Town Center) and safe connectivity to key destinations such as the Valley Springs Elementary School, State Routes 12 and 26, and shopping areas. The Plan will plot future transportation strategies to improve multimodal corridor safety, access, aesthetics, and mobility. The final product will be a conceptual multimodal plan aimed at maximizing existing and planned operational investments along the State Route 12 and 26 corridors while providing safe routes to school.<\/p>\n

Purpose and role of the Advisory Committee: The Advisory Committee will be charged with the review of key interim, draft, and final products; advance review of public meeting materials; and assistance with community outreach to stakeholder groups and general project guidance. A specific meeting schedule will be determined once the Committee is formed. The CCOG anticipates approximately five meetings over the course of the project through fall 2019.
