The fire was reported at approximately 1 acre in size, backing downslope with isolated tree torching. Federal, state and local resources were dispatched and quickly attacked the fire. The Donnell Fire responded 2 type 2 IA hand crews, air resources, and overhead to assist with fire suppression activities. The Cabbage Fire is burning on the south side of Highway 4 in the Cabbage Patch area. Tankers and crews made good progress, and the forward rate of spread is stopped at 2-3 acres in size.
