A that time, a 69 year old Sonora man was riding his electric bicycle, without a helmet, southbound, along the right roadway edge line just ahead of the Buick.  From the hand edge of the roadway, the bicyclist made a left turn towards Old Sonora Columbia Rd, directly into the path of the Buick.  Mr. Williams took evasive action, but was unable to avoid a collision with the rider and his electric bicycle.
