<\/a><\/p>\nThe arrests stemmed from a seven month investigation and culminated in a combined 56 felony counts ranging from Conspiracy to commit sales or furnishing of controlled substances, illegal prescribing of controlled substances, to practicing medicine and\/or prescribing controlled substances without a license.<\/p>\n
During this investigation, multiple search warrants were issued and served at Dr. Sostock\u2019s medical practice and her residence in the 600 block of Daybreak Ct. Sonora, CA. This investigation has paralleled an ongoing investigation in Dr. Sostock\u2019s Medical Practice by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, State Medical Board and the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).<\/p>\n
Both Lori Beth Sostock MD and Vanessa Lynn Sostock were booked into the Tuolumne County Jail. DR. Sostock\u2019s bail was set at 200,000 and Vanessa Sostock\u2019s bail was set at 100,000 dollars. As of 9:00 A.M. on 7\/8\/15 both suspects are still in custody at the Tuolumne County Jail.<\/p>\n
