Kavanaugh to serve as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/americanherald.us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/2000px-US-Senate-Logo.svg_.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"271\" height=\"320\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1611\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe FBI conducts background investigations in accordance with the agency\u2019s standard operating procedures, and it has done so six previous times for Judge Kavanaugh. I\u2019m confident that the FBI agents tasked with this responsibility will not succumb to public political pressure or politicians telling the agency how to do its job. Respectfully, the career public servants and professionals at the FBI know what they\u2019re doing and how best to conduct a background investigation. The FBI\u2019s business should be carried out independent of political or partisan considerations.
