Sonora, CA…I have a passion for design and home improvement, and am committed to providing quality design services at prices that suit the budget of my clients. I don\u2019t have an unlimited budget for my house, and suspect you don\u2019t either, so my goal is to design your home just as I have my own ~ getting the maximum results, at the best possible price! Having a General Contractor and Master Cabinet Maker for a father, I grew up around design and construction. I learned many skills from him over the years, and something was always being remodeled in our house! I worked in high-tech through the 1980\u2019s, but then decided to switch gears and work in the family business when I wanted to have my second child. Working side-by-side with my father, I was the Office Manager in his business for 10 years, but also gained extensive knowledge of cabinetry design, construction, materials and hardware. At that time, I was also remodeling my first home (room by room), and was bitten by the design bug, so headed back to school to receive an Interior Design Certificate from U.C. Santa Cruz.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve worked on many projects over the years in the Bay Area, but also designed a 5,000 sq. ft. custom residence in the Lambert Lake Estates community here in Sonora. I acted as project manager once the structure was \u201cclosed in\u201d, coordinating the finish contractors and design details, ensuring every last one was covered! I\u2019ve always been very hands-on, and have done much of my home improvement myself. I\u2019m not afraid to get my hands dirty, and will be with you every step of the way on your projects. I\u2019m proud of my work and the testimonials I\u2019ve received from satisfied clients, as well as being voted five consecutive years as the \u2018Best Interior Designer in Silicon Valley\u2019, by the San Jose Mercury News Readers\u2019 Choice Awards. I make the design process approachable for everyone, regardless of the size of their home or budget, and my down-to-earth style puts my clients at ease. After eighteen years of business in the Bay Area, I\u2019m proud to finally be serving my community of the Gold Country! I\u2019ve been feeling Sonora was home since 1993, when my parents bought property and my family began enjoying the beautiful Sierra foothills.<\/p>\n

I offer a large variety of services, and am happy to help you with everything from choosing a paint color to designing your entire home, while always respecting your individual style and budget.
