\nINTERIOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA FOR STRONG NORTH TO EAST WINDS AND
\nLOW HUMIDITY…<\/p>\n
* AFFECTED AREA…The Sacramento Valley, the northern Coastal
\nRange, the west slopes of the northern Sierra Nevada and
\nadjacent foothills, and much of Shasta County.<\/p>\n
* WIND…North to east wind 15 to 25 mph with local gusts 45
\nmph;local gusts up to 60 mph over exposed ridges. Wind strongest
\nover ridges and through favorably oriented canyons.<\/p>\n
* HUMIDITY…Widespread poor overnight humidity recoveries as
\nlow as 15 to 30 percent. Afternoon humidity may drop as low
\nas 10 to 15 percent, locally lower.<\/p>\n
* IMPACTS…any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
\nOutdoor burning is not recommended.<\/p>\n
