Angels Camp, CA…Calling all Young Eagles: volunteer Experimental Aircraft Association pilots provide flights and ground school for children ages 8 to 17 to foster an interest in aviation through the EAA national Young Eagles program. 8 a.m., Calaveras County Airport, on Carol Kennedy Road off Highway 49 between Angels Camp and San Andreas, there is limited space, reservations are required, call 736-0684 or 736-2501 to confirm your flight<\/p>\n

The local chapter, Mother Lode Chapter 484 founded in 1972 is dedicated to encouraging and educating the youth in Calaveras County about all aspects of flying. We also support the operations at Calaveras County Airport. We are a group of pilots and enthusiasts that are building, restoring and flying all types of aircraft from experimental kit planes to new state of the art production aircraft.
