The Fire closed Hwy 4 and Hwy 89 for almost a week.   The Hwy 4 area actually looks pretty good. While much of this area is largely smaller trees, underbrush and sage it was charred down to the nub.  Good news is our Scenic Byway is safe and scenic but other areas will take some years to restore.<\/p>\n<p>We used a new high tech steady cam system consisting of an arm stuck through a sunroof.
