The first recipient, of course was Peter Brinkman himself, some of the others include Harry Schimke, Paul Petersen, and Bob Shedd.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the 15th recipient of the Peter Brinkman Award is Craig Rice. Craig arrived in Bear Valley in 1968. Craig has been an integral part of our Ski Patrol for 50 years, training 3 generations in medical response, avalanche control, explosives use, weather, geology, biology, and history.
