Volunteer with the Mother Lode Office of Catholic Charities. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screenshot-564.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"567\" height=\"122\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-72962\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screenshot-564.jpg 567w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screenshot-564-300x65.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 567px) 100vw, 567px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Mother Lode Office of Catholic Charities manages numerous programs for seniors, individuals, and families that rely on dedicated volunteers. <\/p>\n<p>Your talents will be useful and appreciated in the following programs<br \/>\n    \u2022 Connections &#038; Awareness for Elders (CAF\u00c9) \u2013 Partners provide a connection to isolated and lonely older adults as well as support, encouragement, and activities<br \/>\n    \u2022 Legal Advocacy for Seniors Program \u2013 Attorneys &#038; advocates offer free confidential legal services, resources and referrals<br \/>\n    \u2022 The Mother Lode Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program &#8211; Program volunteers advocate for rights and quality of life concerns associated with residents residing in skilled nursing facilities and residential care facilities.<br \/>\n    \u2022 The Mother Lode Transportation Program \u2013 Volunteers provide transportation to those 60 and over for medical appointments and to the pharmacy and grocery store.<br \/>\n    \u2022 Office Support \u2013 Volunteers work alongside staff to answer phones, greet clients, work on special projects, and more. <\/p>\n<p>A Volunteer Training will begin Wednesday, February 13, 2019 in Sonora.<\/p>\n<p>Please call 532-7632 for more information on how you can utilize your talents and make a difference in our community or to RSVP for the Volunteer Training. <\/p>\n<p>Pay it forward \u2013 make a difference!
