As the storm front moves onshore this morning we will see surface pressure gradients at their strongest during the initial arrival so winds will be in the upper 20\u2019s sustained and gusts will reach into the 40\u2019s. The windy conditions will last into the evening and subside Monday morning as the system heads East at that time. The focus will be the snowfall associated with this Pacific front as today we could see up to 16\u2033 fall today and another 12-18\u2033 tonight!!!!! The model runs are still wavering a bit so the totals could be a bit more for tonight. The snowfall elevations will start out a bit high near pass levels then drop by the afternoon to 6000\u2032 and falling to 4000\u2032 later tonight. Monday the trough will sit over the Great Basin so a few inside sliders may produce but that chance is relatively small at this time.
