Kaiden received life threatening injuries as a result of being struck head-on by an intoxicated and reckless driver in another vehicle. It is a miracle that Kaiden is still alive after spending 18 days in the hospital, missing Christmas. Officer Colby, with his wife Chelsea, organized a late \u201cChristmas for Kaiden\u201d at his Grandparents home with help from officers and staff of the San Andreas CHP and firefighters from Calaveras Consolidated Fire Department. On January 28, 2019, we delivered toys to Kaiden after giving him a tour of our patrol vehicle.
