A 55 year old Oakdale resident was driving a 2010 Toyota Prius westbound on State Route 120, approaching Beglinger&#8217;s location.  Beglinger failed to safely negotiate a right curve in the roadway and crossed into the westbound lane, directly into the path of the Toyota. The vehicles collided head-on.  <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37822\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Beglinger was wearing a seatbelt and only sustained minor injuries.  Passenger Ables was properly restrained in a rear facing car seat and escaped any injuries.  The driver of the Toyota was wearing a seatbelt and was declared deceased at the scene. <\/p>\n<p>This collision is still under investigation.
