This includes potential flash flooding<br \/>\n  on foothill small creeks and streams.<\/p>\n<p>* Some snow melt will add to water flowing into the rivers and<br \/>\n  creeks of the lower mountain elevations and foothills. Three to<br \/>\n  six inches of rain is expected with local amounts between eight<br \/>\n  to twelve inches. This could cause ponding of water on area<br \/>\n  roadways.<\/p>\n<p>* Rainfall rates are not expected to exceed burn scar debris flow<br \/>\n  thresholds.<\/p>\n<p>PRECAUTIONARY\/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead<br \/>\nto flash flooding. Snow<br \/>\nlevels will start out relatively low, but will be rising to<br \/>\n4500-5500 feet on Tuesday and to 5000-6000 feet on Wednesday.<br \/>\nPersistent long term snowfall for the western slopes will inundate<br \/>\nmajor pass levels into Thursday. 3 to 5 feet expected above 5000<br \/>\nfeet with 10 feet or more possible near major pass levels and over<br \/>\nthe peaks.
