Best, 75 from Copperopolis Lost His Life in Vehicle vs Pedestrian Collision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Copperopolis, CA&#8230;Mr. Rabeneau was driving his 1973 Chevrolet truck north on Little John Road north of Bow Drive at 55 miles per hour.  A 75 year old pedestrian, Mr. Best, was walking north, near the right hand road edge of Little John Road.  For an unknown reason, the front of the Chevrolet struck Mr. Best, causing fatal injuries.
