.A Pacific frontal system if forecast to move into northern
\nCalifornia Friday morning with higher elevation snow expected
\nover the Sierra Cascade range Friday afternoon. The heaviest
\nsnowfall is expected Friday night with a transition to showers
\nduring the day on Saturday. Several inches of snow are expected
\nfrom Friday night through Saturday afternoon with up to 1 foot of
\nsnow expected at the highest elevations. Mountain travel impacts
\nare likely during this time. Carry tire chains if planning
\nmountain travel this weekend and check the latest road and weather
