Arnold, CA…Tips and tricks for taking your Apple product on the road will be explored when the Sierra Macintosh Users Group (SMUG) has its monthly meeting Tuesday, August 11, beginning at 7 p.m. in the assembly room of the Ebbetts Pass Fire District, 1037 Blagen Rd., just off Highway 4. <\/p>\n

With vacation time and world-wide travel, Brian Thomas, Director of Instructional Technology for the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools, will lead an exploration of what is needed to make use of everything the iMac, iPad, and iPhone have to offer. <\/p>\n

\u201cNot all of us travel in the same way,\u201d says Thomas. \u201cI\u2019ll be making several suggestions, but I encourage others to share with us the apps and tools they find useful while traveling.<\/p>\n

\tIn addition to the main topic, Thomas will encourage questions about any other Mac related concerns.
\n\u201cWe all learn from the questions people bring to our monthly meetings,\u201d states SMUG president Dick Cross.
\nSMUG meets the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings are open to everyone and there is no charge to attend. The organization exists to keep Mac users abreast of the latest developments and to address the nagging questions that arise from time to time. Its goal is to take the mystery out of computers and to enable members to take advantage of all the features their Macs possess.<\/p>\n
