Angels Camp, CA…(Frogtown, USA)..The Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee is excited to announce that MacKenzie Freed will be hosting the Miss Calaveras Scholarship Pageant on May 16, 2019. MacKenzie is Miss California 2018. She is a Lodi native with local ties to Calaveras County.<\/p>\n

She has a passion for children “Imagine a world in which children fearlessly pursue the ambitions of their hearts rather than allow peer and societal pressure to stifle their potential. My goal is to encourage America\u2019s youth to be brave and bold in the pursuit of their passions and to accept one another as equals with the hope of improving the quality and compassion of our future workforce.” wrote MacKenzie.<\/p>\n

The Miss Calaveras Scholarship Pageant will be awarding nine scholarships totaling more than $8,000. Joining Miss California on stage are Darrin Mills and MaryBeth Ospital.
