Arnold, CA…On 08\/02\/2015, at approximately 1449 hours, San Andreas CHP units were dispatched to a report of a motorcycle collision with CPR in progress. Upon our arrival, V-1 was found facing in an easterly direction in the westbound lane of State Route 4, with its front end collided into the front end of V-2. The motorcyclist\/solo occupant was pronounced deceased by an on-scene paramedic. V-1 was traveling eastbound on State Route 4 east of Upper Moran Road at an unknown rate of speed. V-2 was traveling westbound on State Route 4 east of Upper Moran Road at a stated speed of 35 MPH. V-1 was unable to negotiate a curve, and collided head-on with V-2 in the westbound lane of State Route 4.<\/p>\n

This collision is still under investigation. Alcohol\/drug toxicology report is pending.<\/p>\n
