This morning, a former staff member from a Tuolumne school turned herself in.  In December, the Tuolumne County Sheriff\u2019s Office was notified of possible sexual abuse between a staff member and students at Mother Lode Christian School. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/tcso.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-63523\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/tcso.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/tcso-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/tcso-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The sexual abuse was reported to have taken place in the 1990\u2019s and involved underage students. The suspect, 61-year-old Mona McGrady, was a staff member who served as sports team coordinator and coach. The victims were former students and players. <\/p>\n<p>Detectives from the Tuolumne County Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed with Mother Lode Christian School staff that McGrady no longer worked for the school and had resigned almost two decades ago. <\/p>\n<p>Tuolumne County Sheriff Detectives investigated the allegations and determined there was enough evidence to issue a warrant for her arrest.<\/p>\n<p>McGrady faces the following charges:<br \/>\n&#8211; 13 counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child 14 or 15 years old.<br \/>\n&#8211; 1 count of sexual penetration with a foreign object of a person under 18 years of age.<\/p>\n<p>McGrady\u2019s bail has been set at $100,000.
