Columbia, CA…Columbia Airport will celebrate its 53rd annual Fly-In over the weekend. Events for both the young and older, brings inspiration to all and sparks memories in those who have attended the fly-in as well as those who served our country. Pilots look forward to bringing their beautiful, historic aircraft to our fly-in, a family friendly event complete with children’s activities and live music. The event will host plane demonstrations, static displays, plane\/car races, and much more! Sponsored by the Columbia Airport.\u00a0 The Full Schedule is enclosed…<\/p>\n

Schedule of Events – Saturday

\n7:00 am to 11:00 am – Pancake Breakfast
\nBoy Scout Troop 570 will be serving up a pancake breakfast in the campground for just $8.00\/person.<\/p>\n

8:00 am – Admission Gates Open
\nAdmission is $5.00\/person. Children aged 12 and younger are free.<\/p>\n

9:00 – Vendor Booths Open & Rides Begin
\nAt this year’s event, there will be B25, and tethered hot air balloon rides available!<\/p>\n

11:30 am to 3:00 pm – Runway Closed for Aerial Demonstrations & Car Drag Racing
\nIf you are flying in, we suggest you try to arrive before 11:30. Temporary tower frequency for the event is 134.7.<\/p>\n

3:00 -3:30 pm – Flour bombing & Spot Landing Contest
\nSign-ups and information for those who wish to compete will be available at the Info Booth.<\/p>\n

5:00 – Saturday Night Dinner
\nCazadora will be catering this year’s Saturday night dinner!<\/p>\n

We are not pre-selling dinner tickets, those will be available at the event, on a first come first served basis! Cost is $12 per plate.<\/p>\n
