Facebook has informed the Sheriff\u2019s Office that due to the high visitation rate of the of the Sheriff\u2019s Office page, the Sheriff\u2019s Office is now required to complete additional security measures. In the interim, the page has been locked by Facebook.  The Sheriff\u2019s Office is attempting to meet the demands of Facebook, however, the Calaveras Sheriff\u2019s Office Facebook page will be inactive until this situation is resolved.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/ccsoround.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-81056\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/ccsoround.jpg 250w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/ccsoround-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/ccsoround-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This outage will not affect public safety notifications or high importance press releases which will be continue to be broadcasted by the Nixle system. The Sheriff\u2019s Office will also post press releases to its webpage.
