Dinner will be served starting at 5 p.m. This month, Sierra Hills &#038; Natural Foods Markets will be the caterer offering a choice of grilled skirt steak or chicken, assorted salads, watermelon slice, and cookies. The featured wine will be from Black Sheep Winery.<\/p>\n<p> Friends and neighbors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a small town America happening.  There is no admission charge and a lot of free parking is available nearby.  Donations to help maintain the park are always gratefully received.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Murphys Community Club is celebrating its 67th year of providing services and programs for the greater Murphys area.  Its prime responsibility is the management and maintenance of the beautiful Murphys Community Park.  <\/p>\n<p>\tThis is the ninth year the club has presented First Fridays in the Park.  These summertime events continue to grow in popularity and have fast become a Mother Lode tradition.<\/p>\n<p>\tMurphys Community Park is located on Algiers St. in historic downtown Murphys.  Membership in the Murphys Community Club is open to everyone and contributions are tax deductible.
